A good social atmosphere. Good for TV sports and parties. Offers plenty of room for smoking in front of the bar and ample seating areas. Wide choice of beers and wines but no cocktails
A good town centre pub where you can enjoy a peaceful pint and watch the world going by, or watch sport on the big screens. A good selection of ales, a loyalty card scheme, and plenty of free seats during the day. Not much atmosphere, though.
nr, Round Bush House, Roundbush Lane, Radlett, Watford WD25 8BG, UK – 01923 855532
Lovely pub, friendly with a nice atmosphere and great food. A good lunch destination. I recommend you book though as it seems popular. We've eaten there a few times and it was always full.
Pleasant and unpretentious country pub. Although it feels a bit weird saying "country pub" for a place (just) inside the M25. Staff were very nice and welcoming and the food arrived very promptly. Unfussy pub grub, none of that gastro nonsense here. Nice old pub carpet - you know the sort of thing. Beer from Charles Wells (Bombardier etc) and in good condition.

Having lived in Bushey for a fair number of years I'm used to the premium you pay for eating in the village. Once this meant a good plate of food from a good chef (some even with Michelin stars). So in recent years the gastro pub hits us and generally to start with the food is good an a reasonable sized plate. However on Sunday while my meal tasted amazing, the 7.5stone of me was still hungry. I had the duck breast, the plate had 2 small pieces of duck. About 4 stems of broccoli & 4 tiny fondant potatoes. Less than 4 small new potatoes worth of matter. At £17.95 while satisfied with the flavour and cooking I expect to walk away from a meal feeling as if I've been fed rather than what actually amounted to a snack. We've welcomed lots of new people in to the village in recent years but I feel our new population has more money than sense and this allows places to do this with ease. Remember quality doesn't have to mean a minuscule amount to eat. I hope the staff are on a good wage in consideration of the cost & scrimping on ingredients.
A traditional public house that has undergone a significant modernization. Whether this is a good thing is a matter of personal taste. My take, the beer is still good, the staff are friendly.

Attended a70th birthday party the food was excellent a menu to accommodate everyone. The service was very good and the disco was first rate the D. J. had almost everybody on the floor dancing. All in all a great night to remember. BOB AND EILEEN PURL.
Food delicious. Service excellent. Only downside was dance floor too small. The restaurant had set up a big hen group's dinner on the dance floor so there was no space left.

Good, tasty and cheap food. Not the most comfortable seating, but good for a quick and filling bite.
I absolutely have a wonderful time, I go there often like 5x a month and have a good time, the customer service for my personal opinion is great and the owner is the best owner and he is lovely man, I have a great friendship with him, I hope he is reading this my brother salaam alykum ❤️ I have great food and shisha is on point ❤️

Really 3.5 stars. Good neighborhood restaurant. Food is decent flavor and good quality with reasonable prices. Service was slow but very friendly (new servers and understaffed on our night), so no biggie. Pizza crust is thin, but a bit on the wet side. They serve fish and meats. Didn't try any pasta, but veal was pretty good. The rest of the group seemed to enjoy the fish entrees. Wines also reasonably priced. Coffee quality not so great. Complimentary after dinner limoncello was nice.
Really a 3.5 - Excellent service - food was well presented - did not hhave to wait long for food to be served - would recommend to a friend

Great for vegetarians and people with food allergy. Very happy to modify dishes to meet dietary needs. Food looks good and tastes great. Service is friendly and efficient.
Friendly staff. Really nice food. Drinks are also very good. I would like to go back again. The food is proper nice. Very tasty and well worth the money you spend to go. The location is good so you can easily eat at this restaurant and then go drinking afterwards! I would definitely recommend this place!

Real authentic Southern Chinese food. It’s the most authentic you will get outside of most Chinatowns. Good selection of Dim Sum. At weekends you will see Chinese families eating here. A good sign. Don’t expect 5* service and you’ll be fine. * edit * Dropped to 3 stars as it recently failed hygiene inspections.
Very large and pleasant restaurant on an arterial road outside Watford serving Chinatown quality food at London prices, though that is deservedly so. Large and varied menu and although it takes time to read through it is worth doing as there are lots of unusual dishes dotted among the more familiar. Can be very busy though waits are not as long as the queue suggests. Caters well for large groups and equally for the lone diner. Wish it was accessible by public transport, I'd go more often

The epitome of quantity over quality, that said you can't argue with the value for your money. Just don't expect the food to be the highest standard, which is understandable given the selection offered. I've been twice at lunch and the atmosphere is good. Overall would recommend and I will definitely be going again. Something to note if you go at lunch between Monday to Thursday its cheaper but you get less selection of food. Highly recommended that you go dinner or lunch weekends for the best experience.
This is the best buffet for £20 per person for all you ca eat and soft and hot drinks.. price based on July 2018.. The food is not all that great but it's like your local Chinese full menu and Japanese, English Indian food, Italian, American and Brazilian all in one roof. FOODIES who like cheap food in abundance will LOVE this place. Oh they also have a bit of fried English food and desserts and a chocolate fountain .

I took my husband here for his birthday. We have been here several times over the years. You cannot fault this restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty the spicy flavours do not drown the dish. Service is excellent with every angle covered such an enjoyable experience. No I didn't get paid to write this yes we will be going again. I had wanted to try The Pavilion but was told kitchens close at 7pm ?
Great food .taste well .slow service .i will come again

No idea why it’s rated only 3.9... love this place. In Germany we don’t have tasty Indians like this. Service was great
Lovely food and very well looked after by staff. Best Indian I have had EVER
36 Market St, Watford WD18 0PY, UK – 01923 236500
Delicious and high quality Indian food. Wonderful service. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food, been using Indian restaurants over 20 years and this ranks in my top 3! Only ever had takeaways but the food always arrives speedily and hot and they offer 20% off larger orders. Went in there once and was waiting for my takeaway to be cooked and they gave me a beer on the house which was a really nice touch. They seem to care about their food, it's very tasty, good options and always a decent amount of meat in the meat dishes whenever I've ordered. Waited until I've had a few meals from this place before leaving a review, but it is well deserving of it's 5 stars, it'd be off the chart if they lowered the prices slightly ;)
The Former Post Office, Market St, Watford WD18 0LG, UK – 01923 388073
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Watford. Converted from the old post office the high ceilings and large windows make the place feel light and spacious. The food is always very good and the staff are polite and attentive. I have never felt rushed when I have been in this restaurant (unlike other Italian restaurants in Watford). Great for lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great service by one of the lovely polish servers/host. Food very nice, restaurant specious.

Nice venue, nice staff & nice food. Staff were very accommodating to my 3 year old daughter. The little babini menu is really good 👍🏼
Had dinner with my wife. Excellent food and service. Particularly Tom our allocated waiter. No doubt, we will visit again shortly...

Really good good food. The staff is italian so they definitely know what they are serving. They are all really nice and friendly. I am Italian so i can easily say that this place deserve to be visited
Surprisingly good pizza! I was amazed how tasty was the pizza as we stumbled upon this place by a chance. Well worth coming back to.

A very good place for vegetarian and vegan food. Meal of the day is always good! Good prices and and service.
Sorry to say not as good as expected and quite expensive. Food was OK i had the Falafel wrap and daughter had the burger which was very average. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere however!
57 Market St, Watford WD18 0PR, UK – 01923 248898
Lovely food, lovely people! Such a nice place to eat and chill and great value for money! Plus you can bring your own alcohol. The entertainment is fantastic too. Highly recommended!
Ambiance and decor were eclectic and delightful. Server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable...until she vanished and we spent half an hour trying to get our check and leave. Food was abundant but far from top end in flavour or quality. Disappointing
314 St Albans Rd, Watford WD24 6PQ, UK – 01923 227337
Amazing food everytime. Very friendly owners and staff. All the food is cooked fresh to order so it can take a little longer than in most places but it is definitely worth the wait! Prices have gone up considerably which is a shame as l would say this is more of a canteen than a restaurant and should be reflected in the prices. They have recently taken away card payment which is why l have knocked off 1 star.
This has been our local for takeaway and delivery for the last 3 years, and we decided to eat here for the first time with friends this weekend . As expected the food was just as nice, and our friends were also happy with their dishes. Fresh food . wait the worth
151 The Parade, Watford WD17 1NA, UK – 01923 229651
Cozy and friendly place where to share a great time with your colleagues, family or simply your partner while you enjoy a few drinks. My colleagues and me had a big table for us, as soon as we were coming, we were adding even more tables and chairs without any problem. The waiter and waitresses were charming and absolutely obliging. Some of us weren't sure what to order to drink, so the waiter there suggested us a few cocktails, he literally asked which kind of ingredients we like and he came up with a cocktail out f the menu which was super and refreshing under the heat UK is suffering lately. If you'd like to have fun at ease drinking a pleasant and delicious drink surrounded with your friends or loved ones, I'd recommend you to have a go here.
Music a bit too loud. Prices reasonable rather than good. Staff pleasant.
Station Road, Watford WD17 1ET, UK – 01923 218413
Love it. Hate it. It's got space. Good gigs at times. Crowd is mixed. Great for a pint before the train or during a delay. Food is actually decent. Good for big groups.
Location, location, location! Large corporate pub located right next to Watford Junction train station. Cheap pints, okay food and service.
